Some of the program content:

There are days in our U.S. history that stand out as powerful days of infamy – some good – some bad. This day, December 7, is one such day – one such very bad day – the day the Japanese armed forces bombed Pearl Harbor – the beginning of World War II – the most horrific war in world history. As bad as this day of Remembrance is, there is an equally powerful good day to remember and to honor our Veterans – November 11, the day we remember as a nation that truly, “freedom is not free!”

This special Veterans Day Tribute program tells in detail the true story of what really happened on Pearl Harbor that fateful day, December 7, 1941. How do we know the story to be told is true? Because it will be told by those who were there.

Our production staff has spent hours talking to those who were there during the attack, some on ships in the harbor, some on land; but all saw the attack as it played out, all experienced the horror and the devastation, all suffered the overwhelming aftermath as they saw, first hand, the death and destruction.

But this program, and these stories being told, are not just about what happened that day, but more importantly, what happened after – when our U.S. forces unleashed a fury against the enemy and, finally, after so many years, after so much was given, we did win that war.

Join us as we walk through those events as told by those who were there. It is a story you do not want to miss!
