Memorial Day is a special day set aside to honor those brave Americans who have died in the service of our nation. It is also a day meant to remind us all that truly freedom is not free. It is so easy these days to take our American freedom and safety so very much for granted, but the truth is this – if we did not have our brave men and women, both past and present, if we did not have them acting as a shield to protect each of us – there truly would be no freedom, there would be no safety. So, Memorial Day is a perfect day to help us all remember that
we are the land of the free because
we are the home of the brave.
This special feature is formatted for a 1 hr time slot – actual length is 44 minutes.
This Memorial Day special, “The Price Paid For Freedom”, has been produced to honor all of our Veterans, but it gives a special salute to so many of our WWII Vets who are leaving us by the 1,000’s every day.
I am presently working on finishing the production of these Veterans interview. It has been quite a challenge and my deepest honor to talk with these who are part of what has come to be known as “Our Greatest Generation”.
Although I will be hosting this Special Feature, the Stars of the show are these very special Veterans, each telling their stories in their own words.
This Memorial Day tribute program, “The Price Paid for Freedom” follows the SRN Talk clock.
