The hospital, currently under construction in Addis Ababa, will be a state-of-the-art 60 bed hospital complex that will provide modern medical and surgical care to physically disabled children in Ethiopia.

Estimates show that there are 700,000 disabled Ethiopian children but less than 50 percent of the population has access to any health care provider. There are only two doctors for every 100,000 people and fewer than 20 percent live within a two-hour walk to any health care facility.
