On services like DGNNet and Salem, where they share the channel with another audio service on the other side, the 4 relays are shared between the two services.
The relays are shared in the following fashion:
Since the relays are not numbered as "1" through "4", though, some confusion may result.
As such, the left audio channel has control of the relays numbered "0" and "2", while the right audio channel has control of the relays numbered "1" and "3".
Therefore, SRN
controls relays 1 and 3 for the "Salem"
channel (since it's on the right side of its dual mono channel).
We currently use StarGuide relay 1 to trigger local commercial breaks and StarGuide relay 3 for local station liners.
Likewise, SRN controls relays 0 and 2 for
the "DGNNet" channel (since it's on the left side of
its dual mono channel). We currently use StarGuide relay 0 to trigger local commercial breaks and StarGuide relay 2 for local station liners.
